Ate here with a group, and I had a great first experience! SO many options to choose from on both their food and drink menu. I had a glass of moscato to drink. I had also been craving a caesar salad, and this one definitely hit the spot! I was very pleased with the portion size. I placed a to-go order from my table to take some food home to my partner, and it was ready to go at the perfect time. The Grilled Chicken Breast Sandwich was delicious, and the fries were just as tasty. Our server was kind, quick, and attentive. It was a bit loud inside, but there were lots of people throughout the restaurant and the noise was nothing unbearable. I can't wait to visit again this summer to check out their awesome patio! I walked past it when I was leaving on my way out, and it definitely looks like the place to be when the weather is warm.
The food was ok. The service fair. Very loud inside. Plenty of parking in lot across the street.
Just went here on a spur of the moment after an event! Ended up running into the ladies that invited me to their trivia table! We sat at the bar and ordered drinks and food. They had the French dip sandwiches and sides. They really enjoyed those!! While I tried the tarragon chicken salad. I really enjoyed the salad. It comes with toasted points - so good! It does contain almonds, but they seemed so crushed that I couldn't tell.( originally requested them off) the bar tender, Bryan did explain it was mane with the dressing. We all really enjoyed the bar! They have more seating in the back and what seemed like in indoor courtyard. Love the inside architecture and feel. I'd definitely would come back again!! Glad we came here on a whim!
I enjoyed this place. It was so calming and relaxing when I walked in. I enjoyed seeing locally owned and operated businesses. The French dip and fries were so delicious! I got the sweet & spicy drink, which I loved the packed punch of their jalapeño infused vodka. I felt the drink was missing something, it was still good. My friend had the jalapeño grits with her French dip, we were excited to try them, sadly they were missing something, as they were lacking a seasoning with minimal jalapeños. The bartender was very kind, helpful, very knowledgeable, and attentive. I enjoyed the music and atmosphere though it was a busy night the bar area was quiet.
Visited on a busy Sunday (Parlor Tour in Layafette Square) with group of 4. We did not have a reservation and were prepared to wait. We all got a seat at the bar after just a few minutes, the bartender was quick to serve and offer drink recommendations. We waited long enough to have 2 drinks each but the ambiance was very inviting and warm. We got a table and scanned the menu, which offered a little bit of everything for everyone. There was a good amount of time to chat before arrived, understanding it was a very busy day we were fine with it. Food was great and portions were generous! I'll be back and will definitely make a reservation.
We stopped by Square One Brewery at Lafayette Square and tried a few dishes. We ordered the Reuben with fries, the pan-seared salmon with lime and parsley butter (served with garlic-herb mashed potatoes and veggies), and the shrimp and grits, which had shrimp, andouille sausage, and a Cajun cream sauce. The grits had a nice creamy texture with a bit of spice from the jalapeño cheddar. It's a nice spot to grab a beer and a bite with friends while enjoying good music, but overall, nothing particularly stood out. A solid choice if you're in the area!
We came for cocktails and it was pretty empty, at least the bar area. They had a variety of liquor from cocktails to craft beers. The pricing for cocktails were great, about $10 for one. This is a score for us as we're used to California pricing of about $15-$20 for a cocktail. We got 2 cocktails. I got the strawberry fields and my friend got the Miss Peaches. Both were refreshing and not too sweet. Good place to stop by for some drinks before heading to dinner.
Came with a large party and they were accommodating. Drinks were good and the food was decent. Great ambiance for a casual date night or hangout spot.
A great way to start the New Year is with the Square One brunch. Reservations are recommended. We got there right at the time of our reservation and they led us straight to it table. Sadly the patio was unavailable, but if you come in warmer weather, I highly recommend sitting outside. They had some special food and drinks for the holiday while also offering their regular brunch menu. Two of us ordered a special and the other two ordered from the regular menu. The food came out remarkably fast and was piping hot. I love their whiskey and occasionally drink their beer. This is one of my favorite places for dinner.
